airFIELD, by Jamie Barlow, Dan Goods and Nik Hafermaas uses simple LCD discs in a clean waveform to create a visual representation of the traffic in and out of Atlanta’s airport.  It reminds me of both the Kinetic Rain Installation and the Patterned by Nature installation, but the use of white as the LCD color instead of black gives it a light and airy feeling.
