Lenses for spherical projection are nothing new, but touch interactivity is a nice addition.  Of course, projecting a globe on it and making it interactive is a perfect way to show it off!

The big question is what else besides a globe would work? A branded sports ball for a sports themed exhibit or a round cell for the medical market quickly come to mind so I think this technology will have some legs in the exhibit world.  The other thing it has going for it is the brightness.  The Embraer exhibit looks pretty bright and that doesn’t seem to diminish the quality of the projection.
