Here is Today is an incredible (yet simple) infographic that shows our current place in the month, year, century, eon, epoch, era, etc.  It’s the Powers of Ten (here and here) combined with the graphic simplicity of Edward Tufte​ and it quickly makes you feel insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
