DIWire by Pensa Labs takes the idea of 3D printing and applies it to metal wire.  Lots of fun at this stage for smaller items, but how long until this will work with all of the hydraulic pipe bending equipment in metal shop?

 You can print from any SVG file, which is easy enough to output from Adobe Illustrator so imagine the possibilities with type and pattern.
