GDK Metal Fabrics has a fascinating product, a flexible metal mesh with embedded LEDs that allow you to play video content outdoors!  Called Mediamesh, this “fabric” can be hung inside or outside to create a media screen that is still translucent when not illuminated.

Opal’s Geneva Auto Show stand (as seen in the images and video above) shows how the product scales nicely for trade show applications. As with most LED products, the impact is still huge even in full sunlight.
