You’ve already got an iPad and a desktop computer so why can’t they work together?  Well now they can.  The Astropad allows your iPad to operate like a graphics tablet and you can use your favorite desktop applications, but do the drawing with a stylus on your iPad.

This used to be a much more expensive proposition since tablets with built in monitors were often more expensive then a laptop. Now you just have to decide which stylus to buy.
