Maybe not any time soon, but with MX3D it’s getting closer to a reality. Check out the robot arms that are 3D printing with both resin and metal. MX3d is preparing to have robots building a bridge by themselves in Amsterdam in two years.

This company has just started up to make this dream a reality and absolutely transform construction by creating six-axis 3D printing robots. They also are experimenting with a version that uses resin. These could make a pretty cool on site attraction if the robots just made the elegant sculptures.
