DestoyPix is a phone app that let’s you deconstruct and explode images. This app is by Algomystic (also here on Tumblr) who also created The Parallax View.

Looks like a great way to manipulate client or stock art to give it a more gritty and dystopian feel (if that’s what your client wants to say to their audience).

Some of the results look amazing, but I think the input image really matters (so that it makes the destroyed section stand out). Also, the level of detail and finesse of the user will likely play a big part in getting good results.
