Facecake AR and virtual dressing room

Facecake‘s site advertises a lot of retail solutions, but you could easily see how their product Swivel would translate to the experiential realm and museums. 

You can see from the demo above that this could be a lot of fun to allow attendees to play dress up and send virtual selfies from the show floor. In a museum environment, visitors could put on a period outfit or suit of armor.

Check out the other products on their site related to the make-up industry. Once the system recognizes the face, these could easily be used to place some pretty extreme items on, around or on top off the face.

I experienced this at Target around Halloween and the system allowed you to select and put on any number of costumes.
