I really love the simplicity of Bjarke Ingels big idea for 2 World Trade Center. Its location represents the transition from the low block buildings of Tribeca and the tower glass of the Financial District, so the big idea is to design a building that visually embodies that transition = Vertical Village + Modern Tower.
Look around for big ideas out there and see how they get boiled down and then grow from such a simple premise. How can you leverage your big idea so that less becomes more?
