THÉORIZ kicks AR up a notch

THÉORIZ is pushing the limits of augmented reality. Their latest Mixed Reality R & D test really immerses the participant because it reacts to the participant. Like Bot and Dolly it relies quite a bit on the camera angle to make it more impressive for the viewer (as opposed to the participant), but that’s really half the fun.  If you know your participant’s viewpoint should be the “camera” then it will be just as impressive for them!

This also plays out in DOORS, where the viewer is tracked and the perspective of the reality beyond the door then reacts to keep up with the relative perspective of the viewer. THÉORIZ combines projection mapping, body mapping and augmented reality to push the envelope.

These research efforts let us rethink the interface between user and content, brings a new level of interaction to experiential spaces, and most importantly redefines what is meant by UI.
