VSA partners and Marvin Windows partnered with Group Delphi to develop the architectural manifestation of VSA’s exhibition messaging concepts for the 2019 International Builder’s Show (IBS). For six months, I worked with VSA to visualize the exhibition experience and product zone activations based on VSA’s objectives and messaging for each product area.

Below are renderings of the final experience concept. Group Delphi produced detail drawings based on my design intent package that were then used by Marvin’s fabrication team to build the exhibit components.

In addition to architectural development, I was responsible for specifying all fixtures, furniture, finishes, props, and floral.

The Tiny Details

VSA devised the concept for the Lego Wall that would resonate with the ‘builder” audience. VSA outlined the location of the wall and the text for the headline, but I had to convert the entire concept to Lego, lay out each letter, calculate the number of Legos needed to execute the concept and provide “build” drawings for the Lego letters.In addition to architectural development, I was responsible for specifying all fixtures, furniture, finishes, props, and floral.
