Current Roles
Board Co-chair, Dean’s Professional Advisory Board, School of Architecture and Design, University of Kansas
For over ten years, I have worked with the school that graduated the founders of Populous, HOK Sport, and Gensler. Pioneers and leaders in the field of placemaking. I have developed the board’s annual symposium, worked with BIG and Bjarke Ingels to develop the masterplan for the school’s campus that features a new multi-story mass timber cube as the focal point. As the chair of the Excellence and Innovation Committee, I have worked with the faculty to investigate how interdisciplanary design and AI will impact teaching and curriculum.
Discover how the transformation economy is reshaping business, why it matters now, and how brands must evolve from selling products to supporting customer transformation.
Executive Creative Director, Sparks Marketing
As an ECD and department leader in an experiential agency, I eat brands for breakfast. In this fast paced industry, I jump from brand to brand and extract the essence and work with the creative team to understand how the brand will manifest itself in physical and digital terms. My ability to quickly digest brands, led me to look more closely at what it takes to build a brand, and that led me, most recently, to researching how the transformation economy will impact brands and brand stories.
Why this course?
Through my research for the board at the University of Kansas and my own interest in what makes brands tick, I found the transformation economy fascinating. It will bring a huge shift to how brand communicate and partner with their audience. I have worked in experiential since the year The Experience Economy came out and I’ve been patiently waiting for that last chapter on transformations to come around. And now it’s here!
