Starbucks Roastery in Seattle takes your cup of coffee very seriously. It’s not just a cafe, it’s a small batch roasting facility. Forget the coffee, I’d go just to see the stunning architecture and machinery up close.
It’s a Starbucks/Wonka’s factory mash-up and it is beautiful. There are great mid-century modern details and warm woods to give it that signature Starbucks look, but the roastery mixes high tech, low tech. modern and antique together to create a visual explosion of moving parts. It’s the coffee equivalent of the original Niketown.
